Sodalite

A must have gemstone! Sodalite is royal blue with some white rays. Many people confuse this stone with Lapis because they are the same color blue. The trick is that Sodalite has some white minerals in it, and Lapis has gold Pyrite within it. Now that you know how to spot the difference you will never mistake the two again. Sodalite got its name from its high sodium content, Sodalite purifies your aura and protects you from negative energy. It also opens up the third eye for meditations. I use it in several basic body layouts to open my clients' third eye. If I feel they have a hard time relaxing during a healing session, I will place a Sodalite on their third eye, which is just between their eyebrows. Copyright © DeMarco,J.
