Black Tourmaline

A true black stone that keeps you grounded. Black Tourmaline absorbs negativity and will ground and realign the chakras; it is perfect for psychic protection and is used to ward off negative energies from other people or your own thoughts. It clears and purifies the energy fields. I love to set a big chunk of raw Black Tourmaline at the base of my spine, which is the location of the root chakra, during a crystal healing session. I place one there and one piece at the clients feet. I do this because most people release quite a bit of negative energy through their feet, so the Black Tourmaline is there to absorb it. The same goes for the root chakra area. Another great place for Black Tourmaline is at your front door as it protects and can energetically intimidate an unwanted visitor or repel a negative attitude someone may have.
