Black Obsidian and Black Tourmaline has several properties in common: both release and protect you from negativity and self judgements; both are true grounding stones, keeping you present in your body; and both Black Obsidian and Black Tourmaline look very similar and are sometimes hard to tell apart. All Obsidians are healing stones and are natural glass that forms when molten lava is submerged in water. Black Obsidian absorbs and dissolves anger and criticisms. I call it pure protection. It is also known for transformation. Black Obsidian helps release the old and bring clarity to those who use it properly. Obsidians come in an array of multicolored natural glass formations.
